Materials: 1 ball Cotton yarn, Size 6 US needles.
Directions:
Cast on 43 stitches or a Multiple of 18 sts plus 1
Work 4 rows of seed stitch for border.
Rows 1 & 3: Knit
Rows 2 & 4: K3, Purl to last 3 sts, k3.
Row 5: K3,*K3,P4,K5,P4,K2; Rep from * across to last 4 sts, K4 st.
Row 6: K3,P1,* P3, K4, P3, K4, P4; Rep from * to last 3 sts,K3.
Row 7: K3, *K5, P4,K1,P4, K4 Rep from* across to last 4 sts, K4.
Row 8: K3, P1,*P5, K3, P1, K3,P6; Rep from * across to last 3 sts, K3.
Row 9: Knit
Row 10: K3, P1, *P5,K3, P1, K3, P6; Rep from * across to last 3 sts, K3.
Row 11: K3, *K5, P4, K1, P4, K4; Rep from * across to last 4sts, K4
Row 12: K3, P1, *P3, K4, P3 K4 P4 Rep from * across to last 3 sts, K3.
Row 13: K3, *K3, P4, K5, P4, K2; Rep across to last 4 sts, K4.
Row 14: K3, Purl to last 3 sts, K3.
Row 15: Knit
Row 16: K3, Purl to last 3 sts, K3.
Row 17: Knit
Row 18: K3, Purl to last 3 sts. K3.
Row 19: K3, *K3, P4, K5, P4, K2, Rep from * across to last 4 sts. K4.
Row 20: K3, P1, *P1, K4, P7, K4, P2; rep from * to last 3 sts, K3.
Row 21: K3, *K1, P4, K9, P4, Rep from * across to last 4sts, K4.
Row 22: K3, P1, * K3, P11, K3, P1, Rep from * to last 3 sts, K3.
Row 23: Knit
Row 24: K3, P1, * K3, P11, K3, P1; Rep from * to last 3 sts, K3.
Row 25: K3, *K1, P4, K9, P4 Rep from * to last 4sts, K4.
Row 26: K3, P1, *P1, K4, P7, K4, P2; rep from * to last 3 sts, K3.
Row 27: K3, * K3, P4, K5, P4, K2; rep. from * to last 4 sts, K4.
Row 28: K3, Purl to last 3 sts, K3.
Repeat Rows 1 to 28 one more time.
Then repeat rows 1-4 once.
Cast off and weave in ends.
