Cast on 42 sts
Rows 1-5: Knit
Row 6: Knit
Row 7: K4 * K2tog Repeat from * across to last 4 sts. K4
Row 8: K4,* Knit into front and back of each st. Rep from * across to last 4 sts. K4.
Row 9: K4, Purl across to last 4 sts, K4.
Rep rows 6 through 9 until desired length then repeat Rows 1 through 5. Bind off.
