Pattern INCLUDES a 3 st. Garter border.
Front Cross ( uses 2 stitches) , knit second stitch on left needle
making sure NOT to drop off, then knit the first stitch letting both stitches drop off the needle.
Back Cross ( uses 2 stitches) , working behind the first stitch on the left needle, knit into the back of the second stitch making sure NOT to drop off, then knit the first stitch letting both stitches drop off the needle.
Directions:
Cast on 46 st.
Knit 3 rows for border.
Row 1: Knit across.
Row 2: Knit 7, Purl 2, (Knit 8, Purl 2) across to last 7 st, knit 7.
Row 3: Knit 6, FC, BC, ( K 6, FC, BC ) across to last 6 st, knit 6.
Row 4: Knit 3, Purl across to last 3 st, knit 3.
Continue these 4 rows until desired length, ending last repeat with Row 3.
Knit 4 rows and bind off.
