SSK = slip next 2 stitches (one at a time) as if to knit from the Left needle to the right needle. Insert the tip of the left hand needle through the front loop of both stitches, passing from left to right, and knit together in this position.
Note: Slip al stitches as if to purl, keeping yarn in back of work.
Cast on 39 stitches. Knit 4 rows. (garter stitch)
Row 1: Knit across.
Row 2 & all even rows: Knit 4, Purl to last 4 stitches, Knit 4.
Row 3: K6, yo, wyib sl 1 as if to purl, K2 tog, psso, yo, *K5, yo, sl1, K2 tog, psso, yo, repeat from * to last 6 stitches, K6.
Row 5: K7, yo, SSK, *K6, yo, SSK, repeat from * to last 6 stitches, K6.
Row 7: Knit accross.
Row 9: K5, * K5, yo, sl 1, K2 tog, psso, yo, repeat from * to sast 10 stitches, K10.
Row 11: K11, *yo, SSK, K6, repeat from * to last 4 sts, K4.
Repeat rows 1-12 About 3 times or until desired length is reached.
Knit 4 more rows of garter stitch and bind off.
