Materials: 1 ball of cotton yarn, Size 4.5 MM knitting needles.

Abbreviations:
SKPO - sl, k1, pass slip stitch over
PSSO - pass slip stitch over

Instructions:
Cast on 18 stitches.
Row 1 and all uneven numbered rows: Knit.
Row 2: K2, yo, K3, yo, skpo, K10 turn.
Row 4: K2, yo, K5, yo, skpo, K8 turn.
Row 6: K2, yo, K3, yo, skpo, K2, yo, skpo, K6, turn.
Row 8: K1, K2 tog, yo, skpo, K3, K2 tog, yo, K7, turn.
Row 10: K1, K2 tog, yo, skpo, K1, K2 tog, yo, K7, turn.
Row 12: K1, K2 tog, yo, sl1, K2 tog, psso, yo, K7, turn.
Row 14: K2, yo, K3, yo, skpo, K4, turn.
Row 16: K2, yo, K5, yo, skpo, K2, turn.
Row 18: K2, yo, K3, yo, skpo, K2, yo,skpo, K1, turn.
Row 20: K1, K2 tog, yo, skpo, K3, K2 tog, yo, K1, turn
Row 22: K1, K2 tog, yo, skpo, K1, K2 tog, yo, K1, turn
Row 24: K1, K2 tog, yo, sl1, K2 tog, psso, yo, K1, turn
Row 26: Knit across all stitches.

This forms one "wedge", repeat Rows 1 - 26 6 more times (7 wedges in total)

Finishing: Fold cloth with right sides together, cast on edge held behind the needle. Knit 1 loop from needle, one from cast on edge to form one stitch. Cast off in the usual manner, knitting the cast on and cast off edges together, as you do so. Sew in ends, and draw up centre of cloth.
