SECOND square: Make the same as first except start with Ch 22 loosely.
When working the plain picot edging (in new contrasting color) be sure your second square is placed over the first. (put the right side out on both squares so no matter which side is up the right side is out)
As you add your plain picot edging to second square (holding squares together and centered) *catch a thread from the main square about every other sc while doing your picot edge. This will give you the look of a double picot edge and a potholder of a good thickness. *you can tie your two squares together temporary with a yarn bow to keep it placed properly.
You can tie your two squares together temporary with a yarn bow to keep it placed properly. Also, you can take the two squares and just tie them together with a bow in each corner for another affect. You could put a few hot buns inside this one in a basket .
