Dimensions:14 x 10 inches
Row1:Ch 43, Sc in third from hook and all across, turn
Row2:Ch 3, dc across, turn
(41 dc including the starting chain)
Row3: Ch 1, sc in frist dc and all across (41 sc)
Repeat rows 2 and 3 until 11 rows of dc made, ending with row 3.
Finish off.
Chains:
With CC, ch 45. Finish off leaving at least 4 inches of tails at both ends.
Make 11 of them.
Waving chains inside rows of dc:
Alternate patterns( one row starting with chain on top of first dc,
next row starting with chain under the first dc)
Row 1 and Row 11 of dc should end up having the same pattern.
Note: Do not worry if the chain doesn't seem the right length, if it looks too loose.
Border:
Attach CC in bottom right corner. 2 sc in corner
going up: sc in the side of sc's, one sc and another sc taking carefully the last ch of the weaved-in chain in the side of dc's.( 2 sc in dc )
top: sc in sc
going down: sc in the side of sc's, one sc taking carefully the last ch of the weaved-in chain, sc in the side of dc's.( 2 sc in dc )
Bottom: sc in each base chain, join, finifh off.
Note: Always make 3 sc in each corner.
Finish off.
Last step: Stretch each row weaved in until the tension of the chain becomes equally distributed.
